NOTICE REGARDING CONFERENCE CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC
After continuing to monitor the course of events during the COVID-19 pandemic and with careful consideration of the health and safety of our registered and prospective conference participants, we regret to announce that the SWANA & MRC Joint Conference tentatively postponed to June 23-25 is being cancelled for 2020. Once again, we believe postponing the event is the best course of action for all Members and Supporters. However, our two organizations are already looking ahead to 2021 to take another shot at hosting a joint conference, and we hope to be able to provide details in the near future!
We understand that several of our registrants have already remitted payment, and we are prepared to provide a credit good for their participation in the 2021 joint conference if that is preferable. Alternatively, if at this time you would like to request a refund, please contact Shea Mask (shea@resdisposal.com).
As disappointed as we all are that this event did not go as planned, the MS Chapter of SWANA and the MS Recycling Coalition are excited to continue to work towards providing our respective members and conference participants a chance to interact, make new contacts, share in their experiences, and work towards combining the goals of our organizations.
